While on a ferry ride back from Chateau D'If (the French prison made famous by "The Count of Monte Cristo"), just off the coast of Marseille, I saw this: it was a sailing school for young kids. They were towed out of the harbor to open water, just as you see them in the picture, where they were then let loose and taught how to sail. I'd been watching them for a while before I took this picture, and here they are returning to port.
