Found an article in Make magazine talking about how Ansel Adams was one of the first to use colored photo filters with black and white film, thus resulting in his stunning black and white photography. A common one he used was a red filter. The article went on to say how with a bit of tweaking in Photoshop, we can't get photos that have the similar dynamic range within the black and white. This photo is a rework of one of my favorites of mine, using these techniques. Please please please give me your feedback. I'll post others I've fiddled with as well. I'll make up a tutorial here in the next couple days and post it so everyone can join in on the fun!

This photo is very nice. I love the depth of field and how the water droplets are so vivid. The drops really stand out, is this because of the filter. Good work. Faved.
