Adams-ian rework of a photo of a footbridge on campus at my former college, Saint John's University in Collegeville, MN. This bridge was lots of fun to walk on, particularly in big groups, because if you threw your weight side to side, you could actually get the bridge to shake pretty violently. Particularly fun with girls who were easily scared... Anywho, I love the detail of the rusting structure, shadows, bright leaves and wooden deck. It has a very gritty, real feel to it. It seems tangible, organic, and I like that about it.

Great shot! I love the way it just goes into a black hole. Beautiful detail and textures, too.

Good perspective leading you into the mystery at the other end.

Excellent study in light and shadow. Very nice lines. I especially like the way the light accentuates the edges of the angle-iron. I'd be tempted to spot out those glints of sky sneaking through the leave to increase the intensity of that dark recess, but that's me. Mighty fine low-key study. Top drawer.

whoa, the textures here are amazing... Most of all I love the contrast between the lightness of the living leaves with the hardness of the wood. Something to think about. awesomeness.
