Fort Logan National cemetery Denver, Co. the light section of the photo is because of the exposure time of 4 min using the IR filter on my 35mm camera. the sun came through the clouds during the end of the exposure. also the partial ring in the left third of the sky was a rainbow

interesting contrasts... the first third of this is lighter than the rest... was it a ray of sun?

I would rate this one very highly if it didn’t have the light patch. The composition is very pleasing. The subject is interesting and thought provoking, and it doesn’t have the harshness that so many infra red shots are plagued with.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

This is one of those photos I wish I could have taken. Very nice - very striking. great composition with the rows of tombstones. I too noticed the "light patch", but took this to be an atmospheric effect from sunlight in clouds/fog. The half-mast flag is a very strong effect too, but I'd like to see more definite stars/strips...Over all, I really like this shot. Nice job!

Great perspective study...but that has been done a lot. What makes this one different (and very good) is the study of light and shadings on the trees. While I am a color freak, I really like the sort of effect you can't get in anything but black and white and this is a wonderful example.

Stunning shot, well done. Has an almost spiritual feel to it. Cheers Al.

The beer urges me on, the bewitching beer, which sets even a wise man to singing and to laughing gently and rouses him up to dance and brings forth words which were better unspoken. Homer (800 BC - 700 BC), The Odyssey (note: beer substituted for wine)
