"The protagonist has a major character flaw which leads to ruin. As the story unfolds, the protagonist becomes tainted by some dishonest deed sending him to his doom. In most cases, the protagonist is brought to ruin by another staple of the noir movie -- the femme fatale. "

This is the second in the series I recently did paying homage to Film Noir. The first can be seen here

Deep and dark. Definitely the feel of Film Noir.

nice photo frame, increasing the focus on the real picture, well done contours and cigarette touches, nice noir presentation.

Good execution of your concept and homage to that genre of film.

I must say, you have kicked my creativity into hyper drive after having read through the accompanying narratives to your presented series.

The standout element for me here ... is the non-descript face of sorts that you managed to produce for your protagonist here. Allowing the viewer to 'fill' in that identity in their own minds' eyes ... is much more powerful.

If I may be so bold ... caveats? (More so, suggestions.)

Hmm, think I would have preferred you had left some additional negative space just in front of your model here. Once again, allowing for some more interpretation on the part of your viewers.

I can't quite recall at the moment if in this genre of film if the shots are this tight? Just a thought.

Lowering the opacity of your signature to integrate it more into the overall composition would, in my humble opinion, lessen some of that visual distraction. Bit too front and center for me and that may just be my perception.

Having said allll of that ... most intriguing work. The framing does indeed work well as mentioned above.

Thanks for sharing your efforts.
