I took this pic from an empty section of a huge mall parking lot that is usually full. hmmm, I wonder why it was empty? Well I was in my truck driving around looking to get the perfect shot of the perfect cloud cluster. This storm had some of the most beautiful cloud formations I have ever seen. I took several pics hoping to get a chance shot at capturing lightning, there was plenty of it, but had no luck. Does anyone out there have any advice on how to prepare for a lightning capture? Anyway I was so caught up in taking photos I didn't even care that some of the clouds looked likt the ones in twister. I don't recommend anyone riding around taking storm pics, but I plan on taking more. I did some manipulations with this shot to because I was still using my old camera and there was a little bit of noise in the background. I hope you all enjoy this Storm capture. The storm after was my manipulations.

Nice and interesting shot. The manipulations looks like very heavy rain. Iīm not fond of the frame but the manips OK. In Sweden we have something called *blue hour* itīs the time just before the sun rises. In that time everything turn up in a bluetone. Looks very funny on a white house :) I donīt know if that have something to do with the latitude. Nicley done.

This is a frightening storm cloud. I like the blues you've used in it but I think it may look nicer w/o the frame. To me it looks as though it's competing with the clouds here. Very nice shot though.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, foofoo and MarianaEwa. Now that I have had a chance to look at it again, I have to agree, your both right on the money about the frame, it really does take away from the main focal point of the shot. Please, anytime yall have any suggestions, tips or thoughts that might help me improve and image or graphic, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks again
