My wife and I like to go on walks at a local park. One evening, as the day was drawing to a close, we noticed about 50 dark shapes in the distance. I got out my camera, got as close as I could, and got off a few shots. There were so many, I couldn't fit them all in one photo! The deer were obviously aware of my presence (if you look closely, most of them are looking right at me!), but they obliged my curiosity. I hope I didn't intrude too much on their twilight meeting.

Those deer who look right at you knows that you have the camera. That's why they were posing for you. Don't forget to send them the pictures. Good job ^_^

every day is a gift......that's why it's called the present!!
Nice capture of this herd of deer. While I'm not crazy about the cloudy sky and the bare trees (I'm more of a summer/autumn person!), the colors as a whole are very nice and complement these animals nicely. I really like how a few of them are looking up in the direction of the camera, others have their heads down, and a few appear to be lying down.
