On the grounds of the N.M.I.A. and north(female) and south(male) of building 50 a dozen cottages were built in the early 1900's. All victorian in style, they housed an overflow of patients from building 50. Now preserved and renovated into an assistant living home.

Another nice photo, but I think I prefer the one of Hawthorne Cottage better. It's not obstructed by trees and you can better appreciate the details of the building. Looks like it was a really nice day when you took these shots! :)
