I like the quality of the stone work in this picture. The shadows, the shapes, arches, strong horizontal and vertical lines. The cropping seems awkward, removing the sides of the arch has cut down on the composition which is a shame.

I don't usually think of massiveness as graceful but the arches are just that.. and I much prefer this version.
