Well Alyssa, you are really exceeding yourself! This is a magnificent shot. I love the warm colors and the lighting of this beautifull image! Well done siss. God bless you too!

Thank you so much for the dedication, it's so greatly appreciated! You are very welcome! It's been a great pleasure to see how you've grown as a photographer in the last few months and I'm looking forward to what you come up with in the future as well!
As for the photo, I really like how you got tight in on the flower. The use of a short DOF really makes the center of the flower stand out. The lighting, as hdwillems mentions, is great; except for the shadow that crosses the left side of it as it slightly distracts, but such is life (near impossible to get that perfect look all the time). It does seem a bit oversharpened/grainy (probably from high ISO), but it doesn't really detract much from the overall effect.
Great capture, keep up the good work, thanks for sharing and thank you again for the dedication!
"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson
I like it. You are growing as a photographer by leaps and bounds. Unbelievable. I love the lighting, and the shadow on the side isn't so bad. It gives me the feeling that the sun is just coming up and this beauty is catching the rays as they gently tumble over the horizon, bit by bit. Love it! Good job!
Caiden.
P.S. If you wanted to, you could add some borders on these to make them 1600 by 1200. It might detract from the photography quality of them, but it would make them good size for a desktop. You can experiment with that, and come up with a few different ways of doing that. It can be fun, but don't over do it. Some photos just aren't made for borders. Some photos look kind of cheesy with them. I'll leave it at your discretion. Have a great day, and God bless you too! = - ]
The flower is very lovely and the lighting draws the attention to just the right place, the center. You could add a little 2 pixel border on top and bottom and copy to a 1200 X 1600 black background for a bigger image to upload.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill
Wonderful work, just the right amount of light to make it mysterious and glue the viewer to the image. Super photograph, great way to present it and make it soft enough to be perfect, not out of focus, soft on purpose.
Excellent shot, I love it very much,
The lightning is amazing, I love the shade on the left,
I can see a hair in below the center of the flower, you might want to remove that.
Hey Tim, just a quick note but when I as editing the flower I also saw what you are reffering to as a hair. But then as I studied I realized it is just part of the flower. Just a flower 'blemish' so I decided to leave it. But thanks for your concern.
