I would call this type of flower a hibiscus. It is a very nice sharp photograph and I am glad you were able to upload a larger size than in the past. You might want to consider cropping it so that your foot is not in the picture although it is a very attractive foot. You are making good progress in your efforts.

A very pretty hibiscus ! And certainly large, judging by the scale you provided using your foot. Though I think a little cropping, as Joanne suggested, might be useful. Nice photograph, by the way.

I agree with JoAnn and Ashley. The foot just ruined a great shot. Flower and the details are very good (a bit more contrast would be welcome)
