Situated on the banks of the Isar River, Landshut is the largest city in lower Bavaria. The city's coat of arms contains three helmuts, hence, the nickname of "Three Helmuts City", or "Dreihelmentstadt".

A nice peak into the city. I like the river with the island in the middle. I never really think about cities having coats of arm, but they must all tell a story.
