The Roman bath at Chester's ancient Roman fort, also known by Rome as Cilurnum, facing southeast at a low oblique angle to provide an overall view of the floor plan.
Garrison personnel first entered the dressing room to the left and proceeded to a small bath to the south. From there is a cold room with a cold bath to the east and the Warm Room to the south. Moving west from the warm room past the boiler to the hot bath. Following the hot bath, patrons moved north through a small lobby, turned left, entering a small anteroom then right into the hot dry room.
Note the stoke hole for heating the air for the drying room.
