I caught this Firethorn in bloom this spring. It helps me to remember a much cooler time this year on the rolling Texas prairie.

They resemble apple blossoms in a way. The dark green leaves are very attractive too. The contrasts are really nice between the white and green.

Cool shot Don,My back garden has a 3 foot hedge of this stuff and the berries in winter are something else,Both orange and Red trouble is i have five blackbirds which find them very tasty so by the time i get home their mostly gone and i can't get a shot of them...
