You put a lot of effort into carving your terrain...right? Nicely done...but I feel the terrain just doesn't seem realistic...maybe its just the version of Terragen..TG2 should be good for you. Great job on this.

I like this .. the land could use some better varied texturing .. and .. you have a problem in the shadowed areas to the viewer's right a bit ... but .... what I'd like to see is a better foreground, and you'd probably need to do it with photoshop and not TG

I'm thinking wildflowers with a layers of transparent blue over them to provide the muted morning shadow

stock xchng will provide that for you for the low low low cost of free (create an account)


but all in all .. it's very nice and useful

I wasasked to comment on this image, and have no real knowledge of 3d programming. Nonetheles, here's what I think. I think there's a little fog effect going on here. The mountainous terrain is set too far back,and the water is dark and murky looking. Very nice effort, but I think you should decrease the fog, and bring the terrain a little bit closer. Maybe make the water a little bit bluer. Have a great weekend!..=)
