great saturated sea colour (used a polariser?)
good reflection of the sail
theres a nice bit of focus on the land dropping into the sea in the scene behind
i might be tempted to crop this from the right a bit thus moving the boat back a bit, but not a lot at all. the reason i say this is that the boat is an obvious eye catcher but then so is that dip between the land on the sea horizon and positioned as it is its putting the weight of the photo off to the left a tad
its an interesting effect that _empty_space_ can have weight eh? ;)
if you were to crop the right ... dont over do it and you may have to crop off the bottom to keep the proportions
phew what a lot of text, that said
its a highly attractive image well done
Hi Basil, so very nice to meet you! If I were a more experienced photographer than I am, I might be able to critique this image in a way that would offer you suggestions for improving the image! However, being a novice, I am enjoying the photo immensely, and happen to think it is very well done! A fine job, and the 'Mediterranean', how marvelous a trip you must have enjoyed! I have traveled to Spain and surrounding countries there, and the beauty, the interests are abounding! Again, the image is lovely, the color, the clarity and all is well! Sincerely, Marilyn
