After leaving Pike Place Market in Seattle, I turned and caught this scene of evening descending on the ancient, no-frills, but endlessly fascinating market place. I had a great afternoon in there, never more than a minute away from a truly superior cup of coffee. This photo shows just a tiny section of a main entrance, which is really an entrance to a bygone era.
Wow!!! Excellent posting. Your shot has a little of everything that I like in a photo. The background is a very cool sky with some great clouds reflecting the light from the impending sunset and creating some glorious pastels. The urban silhouette is something I rarely see, and the cherry on top of this shot are those lights from the cars and the neon lights from the market. This is a veritable smorgasbord of individual items that create an excellent composition.
