And you talk about me, taking risks!....but this was worth it Ewa...I see the winds were blowing to the right...so I imagine you leant to the left to keep your self steady!!!!
wonderful composure my luv...winter will soon be over, and all these goodsnow shots will be replaced, by goos 'sun' shots!!!!!.......Bob
What I love about this shot, for some reason, it doesn't look like its from Earth at all! :D idk why, but it really doesn't, really nice shot, I really like the "cold" feel of this shot, keep uploading more :D
When I noticed this I just had to check out where you lived that you had such a snowy, cold photo. Thanks for trudging out onto the lake. It was worth it. Black and white adds to the effect and so does the frame. I always like off-center things.
Oh you are so brave for going on that ice, i know you had doubts about it... but it was definately worth it... this is a great shot, the b&w makes it really feel "freezing", I am enjoying your winter shots.. Wonderful work Ewa
Beautiful work Ewa, stunning in it's simplicity. Just you, the lake, trees & all that lovely snow. You don't mind if I borrow this for my desktop, do you ? Thanks !
P.S. I love it, it's gorgeous, congratulations on a job well done !
Hi Ewa, This shot is very well done. Your composition and balance is simply awesome. The distance and the details you have managed to show is too very impressive. Good or I must Great work!
What sacrifice - you neither broke in nor went under ? *SMILING*
Nevertheless, I really appreciate your efforts as usual and I'm glad you returned home safely :-)
Some may see starkness in this image ... some may see, or maybe more appropriately, 'feel' the perceived cold ... some may view this and wonder the intent of the artist's message ... not me.
I see the beauty of the snow covered majestic trees ... the ground under a gentle blanket of snow ... and the serenity and tranquility of the overall scene. Mother nature at rest in the winter season ... still does not hide her beauty that you, the artist, has captured here.
Your perceptive powers and natural 'eye' are at their heights here. Great work.
The hard winter is inspiring. Well done!
