In these days there are wonderful oleanders (zakkum in Turkish) like this one, all around in my city. I captured one of them. This is my first photo to Caedes, I took by my new shiny Nikon D3000. I'm learning it's capabilities. Tanju

Keep it up, and glad to hear that you have a new camera to learn about. A beautiful flower.

Well Tanju, I love the Turkish name for this lovely flower. Zakkum is very pretty. Isn't it fun to have a brand new camera?! You'll have to restrain yourself from taking photos of everything eh?! But, don't because just have fun with it. Verena

Good depth,good composition.

but the light is a tiny bit overdone on the flower, so you lost some details of the flower...in my humble opinion...
(*Pink is a difficult color to shoot in full sunlight*)

But overall a very good shot:o)

I love the angle, plus the deep vibrant greens of the leaves and the detail in them. The only thing I'd like to see is the flowers themselves darkened a little. They seem to catch a bit of a glare, but it may be my LCD screen. Keep it up!
