the local park had flooded, which brought out all the creepy crawlies...this was a rather less creepy one :)

What a really beautiful capture, so delicate and soft. There are quite a few bugs in it, I see. The cricket is the best, though.. staring back at you with his bent antenni. Thank you for sharing this :-)

Those sprigs of vegetation have acted like Arks. Your photo silently shows real drama. The insects are all on offer to any passing animal predator. Although I guess the spider must have had a field day! A great photo. Top marks.

Heather, the image is beautiful and absolutely perfect but I dislike the framings as a rule ... [this is my huge idiosyncrasy LOL] ... That explains why I did vote only 9/10 ...

Yeah I agree with all the above,lovely clear shot and nice reflections in the water and those so delicate downy seedheads still attached to some of the sprigs are a delight!
