I love it. That is what I mean the right person in the right place at the right time. This is not only a beautiful shot, but in my opinion it is also full of expression. I am glad you shared it with us.
Hi Stephan, my this is really beautiful, the scenery is lovely and so inviting! It reminds me very much of my own state of MI in the US, with what appears to be evergreen trees and other similarities! Very pretty, and nicely done! The clarity is excellent! Sincerely, Marilyn
I did not think you could outdo yourself, but ... but, clearly you have with this image.
Your other image, "horseshoe lake" was stunning and this is as well. What gives this one the slight edge is the dual points of focal interest here. That small strip of land separating into the two natural bays, is a great added element to the composition.
'K, small confession ... I can't really make my mind up which is better, lol. True. This is, let's say a fantastic companion to the other as the lighting qualities are quite different. So, I suppose that this one gets the edge due to the technical aspects in shooting in less lighted conditions.
'K, I love them both. I will be quiet now.
(p.s. Great detail, wonderful clarity, rich colours ... really really great work, once again. Thanks for another image worthy and truly representative of my country.)
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again. (groan)
