I am still out with my back but one of the great things about living in a rural area is the animals come to me lol I took this out my back door this afternoon we have quite a few deer hanging out here probably because they are not being hunted on my land. :) I feel like I have a sanctuary for these guys :))

It must be wonderful to have these beautiful creatures show up in your backyard...you caught this one at just the right time and pose and I love the warm, earthy tones...a lovely shot.

Holly - I think it did some traveling and ended up in my yard the next morning. Four others joined it to enjoy munching on some of our arborvitae prior to moving on to the woods. Thad

I am lucky to have these guys around. Have to tell you about one a few years back a young one's mama died. The little one kept hanging out here at the house I started calling her little buddy she was never afraid of us. She has been here for four years now. Every year she has twins which she keeps here on my land. She knows we don't have hunting so she feels safe :)
