Rainbow lorrikeets are very common on the east coast of Australia and are regular visitors to my garden. They are very cheeky and will accept food from your hands, sometimes perching on your head or shoulders, once they get used to you.

How beautiful they are! And how wonderful that you have them so close and unafraid.
