This collection of old shops in Orroroo (Ora-roo), a little town in South Australia, caught my eye when I drove through there on holidays.

I like the Friendly Butcher! Nice Australian slice-of-life for those of us who always wonder what it is like to live there. And the oncoming storm makes a perfect neutral, non-distracting background. Is the name some reference to Kangaroo?

Very colorful scene. I think I will get a cup of java, a few pounds of shrimp, and some Tylenol. I need a new set of screwdrivers, too.

A very nice shot of this small town. Ummmm....Jimbob, I don't think they sell shrimp by the pound over there. Boy we Americans really stick out, I wouldn't even know how to order the shrimp! (Cooked) LOL A very nice post and it great to see a small Australian town.
