Cathedral Gorge is a gorge in the Bungle Bungles. It is located at the southern end of the mountain ridge. The specialty of this narrow gorge is a place where the gorge widens, at least at the foot of the cliffs. The result is a huge cathedral like erosional cave foming a sand floored amphitheatre.

Beautiful, both in colours and textures, Frank! I'm most drawn to the reflections and the tremendous scale of the gorge! Very well done!

What fantastic names! "Cathedral George" and "Bungle Bungles". Beautiful, multileveled pic... we see the foreground and the sky, the background contains the immediate cathedral wall and the distant view.
