Christians Minde was the first house to be built in my home town of Sussex Inlet. It was constructed in 1896 by a Danish family whose surname was Elmoos. They operated it as a guest house. The name means "to the memory of Christian" after Jacob Elmoos' brother, Christian, who died of pneumonia after surviving several hours in the water when his boat overturned in nearby St Georges Basin.

That house doesn't look all that old! They must keep it up really well. Outstanding shot, Frank.

The red really draws the eye right in , I hardly noticed the posts for a time. Nicely done. Must be a fine looking town.
