The Tuk Tuk is the cheap transport option in Phuket. They are typically based on small Daihatsu Hijet trucks, with a canopy over seats in the rear tray. Many of the Tuk Tuks are spiced up with mags, under body neons, body kits, amplifiers and big speakers. There are no meters. The price is set with the driver before the journey begins.
