Warm ... adorable and gentle face. Love his eyes and expression.
Me wants to take him home. :o)
... ...
Probably eats like a horse, though. Looks like a big boy.
Suggestion, if I may?
Coming around a bit to the left and still looking right, with your camera, might have been an improvement. Keeping the gorgeous backdrop of the mountains, of course ... except, separating the dog from that of the tow lift structure.
I am guessing that this was a candid shot? A peek into his life, if you will.
And of course, all this is said/suggested after the fact, so ... perhaps something to keep in mind for future, then. 'Cause you definitely have the setting for this dog with the background available. A nice close portrait would be an excellent companion image to this one.
'Formal' versus an 'informal' photo. Simply put.
All that nonsense of mine aside ... this four-legged friend would be eating my lunch if I looked down and saw those eyes. It is a sacrifice I would be more than prepared to make. :o)
"There is always something waiting at the end of the road ... if you're not willing to see what it is ... you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place."
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
