This was almost a missed image. I happened upon this old tree and house on the way to a new fishing spot. I feel that it justifies the old saying: "Always keep your camera with you" How many missed images did you loose because you left your camera at home? I missed many, but not anymore.

Another nice shot. I like the way the house is framed by the arch of the branch. Hope the fishing was good.

You have nice colours here. The house is almost a picture within a picture of the tree. Very interesting.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

The tree is gorgeous. The spacial relationship between it and the house give the photography so much dimension. Very nice, Bob.

This is beautiful with a nice almost lonesome feel to it. Kudos on this photo.

Charming. Beautiful color and neat as a pin framework. I can almost see children (lots of them) running out the door heading straight to that marvelous, great for climbing tree!

Great example of presenting tall/narrow pictures in a context that's pleasing. Well done Bob. I can learn from this and dredge out some otherwise nice pictures that I've been struggling to present. Thanks!

I agree with oth morwyn and arneh - the framing is fantastic! Such a lovely image and great colors - so glad this was not a missed shot (I finally learned - my camera lives in my purse with two sets of back-up batteries).

I know what you mean fotobob! I've missed thousands of images by not having a camera. I go alot of places where cameras aren't allowed. Great capture and good background effect. Well done.

I think that the frame is perfectly done. It really lookes like the picture stands an inch apart from the background! The picture!! It is absolutely impressive!

Well Robert, this was almost a missed image for me to view had it not come up in the voting booth today...what a wonderful composition with those glorious golden colors and the house in the background just adds an additional point of interest...nice complimenting border too...thanks for sharing.:Pat.
