This image is dedicated to trisbert (Robert),who would like to visit this place when he comes to visit America. To mesmerized (Pat), my Canadian friend who was expecting a still life today. Lastly but far from least my friend morwyn (Ann) who would like to stroll the paths of the Garden of the gods with her camera. I live 70 miles (112 KLMs) from this place of magical formations. I attempt to get there for every season. Todays upload was taken in the fall.Observe the dark blue cloudless sky, a sure sign of a VERY cold morning. Thank all of you for your interest in these images of this place of mystic beauty.

Oh gee, thanks Robert. It looks so primeval I’m half expecting to meet dinosaurs when I finally get there. Do people climb these outcrops? Not that I intend to, I don’t bounce as well as I used to. I like that branch on the left, it brings the eye back into the picture after following the line of rocks.

I like the way you worked the tree brances, the bush and the distant mountains into the frame on this one.
