Marie Lake is dedicated to my Mother-in-law Marie who just turned 95 on the first day of September. This lake is very difficult to find a good vantage point to include all of the elements that you would like to capture. The large stone face on the right is named Diamond Rock. It sort of fits doesn't it? I did not like my final images but Cameraannie's are wonderful! Annie always does such wonderful work and her images are always fresh. 47 years of marriage and we still photograph together.What a wonderful life I have had!.

I like the way the rocky mountain and the land and the water all come together....and the pines on the left are the perfedt "buffer"..of course nature provides beautiful colours...the water and sky are so pretty. There are so many beautiful places to take photos of . In a month or so I will be in Montana..can hardly wait! Nice to see your posting Robert. I hope you had a really wonderful triip.

Sometimes it is really hard to capture the beauty and wonder of an area in a single image. This shot really works well in sharing with the viewer. A very fine landscape, Bob!

I love the balance, comp, and concept of this photo. there's something aloof and barren about this shot. its almost like there would be a drop off into space over edge of the background. beautiful nature scene. your photography is quite something.

Love your commentary almost as much as the photo. Congrats! Oh that water. That's the color of water I would just love to go swimming in but I'll bet it is ice cold year round. The water defines the whole composition. The light green on the shore graces an already stunning capture.
