Cameraannie and fotobob missed the Aspens turning color this year. We looked in another direction, at cottonwood trees. Much more difficult to capture do to waiting for the short span of lighting in the morning and evening.Well worth the wait. Do you agree?

the detail and colour in the trees and background is superb and the narrow 'tunnel' framing works very well. Its a shame the sky isnt a little more defined though. a nice rich blue sky would have really offset all the gold accents very well. very nice shot indeed.

Those cottonwoods are gorgeous, tho" I agree to a certain degree about the sky color. All in all a nice shot.

Don't think I've ever seen this type of tree. It's a really beautiful shot through those leaves. They are like the beautiful aspens you also capture. Really nice Bob :-)

Hi Bob! I think the golden color of the aspens does good without the deeper blue sky. The BG is what pulls the eyes to the vivid color of the beautiful cottonwoods. Your wait was well worth it to me. Thank you for being patient and taking the time. Into my fav;s on my h/d :)

The colors are gorgeous. Goldens, yellows and the barn really sets it off. Nice work!!

Old friends, they mean much more to me than a new friend, cause they know where you are and they know where you been?

so lovely and home like. this reminds me of someone's home in colorado. nice work.

Improvements: If i were asked how to make this photo better, i would suggest putting some thing coming into the frame in the foreground. like really close.

Things i wouldn't change: I love the way you boxed in the barn scene between the trees. it looks cozy and gives the picture some character.

Over all though i think its good. i wouldn't have come up with something this good if given the chance.
