Credit has to go to Kodo for his style and impression for these presentations... Im trying to see if i can produce like him, his work is an inspiration to me.
P.S its not my new crocus as mine is white
Please enjoy
Well done Ian on this early foofy upload. :o)
I told you ages ago there's stuff to snap outdoors. A good simple presentation but remember kodo34 is a grand master practically unrivalled on Ceades. ;o)
They say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" and I would say you have done very well in this regard. Use it as you will, but continue to work and develope your own vision and style...jmo
Love the color palette you have here Ian. You have done this quite good. The crocus is a bit out of focus in the foreground though and that tends to draw the viewers eye away from then overall beauty of this creative piece. Keep playing so I can keep enjoying! Thanks for sharing this with me :o)
sorry ian this one does not work for me, it looks as if you have just filled in round the crocus with lilac paintbucket fill. the framing is subtle and pleasant, but theres just toooo much lilac and no depth or shadows.
Well, you're on the way, Ian. You aren't alone in aspiring to Kristof's skill and style. How do you know this is the 1st crocus? lol Jan has a bit of a point. How about a 94-114 MP black border for the outer border. Kristof always uses black and a minimal first border that isn't too obvious. I like the addition of the word and the font you used.
