With a higher-quality rendering, this would be truly awesome. Re-render and re-upload, maybe? :) The pixellation and stuff might earn it a lower c-index than it deserves.

looks to me like something I would have liked to visit... I like the play of light and shadow in the reflections. Very nice.

I agree with Quil about the quality of this, but the design is beautiful. I think an object like this might also look very nice with a different background to give it context. It looks very space-age to me, so maybe a space scene. It would have to be done so it didn't distract from the object, though, so it couldn't be one with too much going on in it. Just a thought. You may see the object as something totally different.
I really like the way the light plays on this. Despite what I said, it looks almost as though it is covered in that subtly textured silk which sometimes is patterned to reflect light like this.
