I have to tell you that I'm trying extra hard to give soft critiques where I see things that I might not have mentioned before, so I'll tell you. I think that the sun is overblown in this and I do see what you were going for. And along that vein it also created a bluish effect on the left-hand side tree. I'm not good enough to tell you exactly why that happened, but perhaps someone who comes along later will be able to. Other than that, it's a nice, straight (referring to horizon line) and well-composed picture with good strong colors :)

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

Hot spot for the sunlight, perhaps a different exposure setting would help. Good composition and idea, warm sun coming in through the trees. - Kirk

Hmm yes I think it's too much sun hitting the camera that's the main problem. Otherwise everything else looks fine to me. =)

"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean." --Socrates (in "Apology")
