Nice pic. Good job leaving all of the room to show a complete the transition from the orange/yellows to the lighter blues all the way to the dark tones.

11 c index :(

no worries about the c-index. Some of my best images have some of the lower indexes in my gallery. The voting system isn't great here so don't be concerned with the c-index. Just focus on the criticism, be it good or bad, that you get from the users.

This is a nice sunset.. the color transitions are fabulous as well.. Since the main transitions take place in the bottom portion of the shot i think you could crop out the top third at least or maybe even the top half. I know it still has a little bit of a gradation in color but you want to focus on the bottom portion because it's the part that "pops" the most.

Also, try setting the sun more to the left or right of the frame.. that way your shot has a less snapshot feel to it.

Overall this is a nice shot. It's quite calming and soft. But again, don't concern yourself with the c-index.. it is often quite inacurate to the quality of an image.
