It's a very interesting cloud formation and a good composition of it. I'd try to tone down the blownout areas, however.

Bonjour Gaeljet, I agree with PJ, where the sun is breaking through the clouds it is too bright. Though the clouds are interesting in themselves and people are often looking just for a sky image, I would have liked to see a little more color variation or something other than just clouds. Perhaps with a little work this could go from an average photograph to a spectacular one...Merry Christmas, anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com. Yeah i agree too, the brightness seems to be unbalanced. Probably using hdr plugin will do the trick. Anyway, excellent composition. Only the color and brightness is little bit flaw..

A bit bright, I also agree with PJ. Still it is a good photo.
