I gave this phot Beautiful Morning because these guys made my morning. I took the dogs out to a conservation area out in the county, on the shores of lake Erie and seen these guys. I thought they were perfect in this setting. I looked them up in my bird book, and from what I can gather they are Mute Swans...enjoy..

I like this. This different. usually you see swans out in unobstructed water. But here, I mlike them navigating through the grasses. This is a keeper. I'll also accept some nice shots of that pretty shoreline and water of Lake Ernie if you care to head that way.

You are right... it is aperfect setting. The greens set off the white of the swans & the color of the water.

Splendid photograph Gerry, of the swans. Perhaps they had still what nearer to can be obtained. Or this had been already entirely obtained near!

Very captivating serene presentation. I can see why this *made your day*. To come upon such a lovely family of swans.They always have a royal appearance. Of course, having a baby swan makes this more special. Nice to see them going through the marshland grasses.The green shades against their white bodies is lovely. Splendid image Gerry!
