This year had the largest bloom of bluebonnets in Texas in this area - hills 'painted' blue. I wish I was able to get a clear shot at the blue rolling landscape (without the highway and clutter associated with it), but a closeup seemed appropriate to capture the detail. The image was taken with an Olympus digital camera on an overcast afternoon.

Very pretty! It would be nice to see a zoomed in photo of one of the flowers. Or perhaps a photo from a different angle...from the level of the flowers. But these are pretty!
