Once again, using Chaoscope, I have been able to capture a visual representation of a mathematical equation. The rendering tool lets you select the medium with which you want to display the final model. In this case, I have chosen to use colored light.

Is this seriously a mathmatical equation?
Even if its not I love it and I will put in Faves!

92 percent American teens would die if Abecrombie and Fitch told them it uncool to breathe. Would you be in the 8 percent laughing their asses off at the others?

I was asked to give a comment on this picture.
I must begin with the admission that I'm probably not the best person for this task as both my understanding of and experience in abstract photos are severely limited.
I find the choice of colours smart and pleasing. The three main points of shining are well positioned and immediately attract the viewer's attention. The whole image has a mystic air to it and therefore looks attractive. It is ,of course, wide open to individual interpretations.
While far far from being a mathematician, I do like mathematics and am very interested to know which equation this image is derived from; also, what is a chaoscope?

Sincerely,
Rokh

Chaoscope is a program available at http://www.btinternet.com/~ndesprez/
and is used in comprehending dynamic systems, a superset of the strange attractors.

You can view the various equations used in chaoscope here:

I chose to incorporate Superstring into the name for the Calabi-Yau "shape" this is based on. Calabi-Yau forms are made by superstrings, and are theoretically the most basic known building blocks of the universe (quarks are made of superstrings).
