Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria. The Tzarevec Fortress is seen here and in front of it one of city quarters...

I was asked to comment on this photo.

Good shot of the castle at night. Improvements: Remove the brick wall from the bottom right (get a tighter shot). The flare coming from the castle is a huge distraction (try avoiding it or change your angle). If your intention was to show the castle at night, you can avoid the city quarters as it doesn't add value to your subject.

Having said it, you have done a good job. Keep posting and sharing

Personally,I wouldn't get too worried about what is supposed to be technically correct, as that's all just a matter of opinion. Like stuying the chemical composition of marble, and failing to notice that it is the Venus de Milo. This shot has mood and so it works for me. Well done.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I... I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference.

Very intriguing and mysterious night shot. Nicely done.

I like the way lighted roadway brings the eye to the city quarters. I also like the texture of the wall and think it might be interesting to use a cloning of the wall to create a frame.

Good shot (I guess) To see it in the day would make the night scene more appreciated.

This is a wow shot, but I have to agree the red in the bottom right hand corner is distracting.
