Roger - A real nice capture of this butterfly - lighting, clarity, colors are spot on. Too bad the gnarly leaf was nearby. Thad

Great capture of this little beauty. Guess I might have tried to take out the leaf in the upper right corner. Otherwise I think it's a good image.

A great close-up of this lovely butterfly, Roger. Good focus, details and clarity. Did you join in the dance or sit there like a wallflower and enjoy the music of Mother Nature? Good work and thanks for sharing.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

Great job! How did you ever get it to hold still long enough? I never can! Some butterflies are notable for bright colors, but there is a beauty in the subdued shades - you were able to get perfect focus and show this off to its best effect.
