I took this photograph on January the 16th when the river Frome still had breached banks in Bristol, and the UK remained on high flood alert, trust me householders on the flood plains were very nervous !! .. The duck pond had spilt its banks too, and most of the waterfowl had taken to the swollen river, or flooded sports field. .. To cut a long story short my waterfowl friends were exploiting the situation. :o) fair play to them !!

Nice shot of those geese...I mean ducks. One thing I know for sure..they ain't swans. LOL. Maybe I can still be taught the difference in waterfowl. I like this picture.

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.

A classic example of, "Lovely weather for ducks!" This is a great natural shot of the ducks, Phil, making the best of a bad job for humans and a good job for waterfowl.

Beautifully composed and Crisp focus. I, personally, would prefer a little less busy foreground.

When it floods, it's best to act like a duck. What a lovely crew you found here, Phil.

Lovely shot with nice colors and composition!
Looks like you found the safety team... they're always on the look out when the rivers and ponds start to flood...
