The Nene Goose is one of my favourite birds they are so tame, and good natured that many children feed them by hand at WWT Slimbridge.
If you are fairly new to my gallery you wont know the Nene [pronounced ne ne] is virtually extinct! click here for further information.

Its such a pity we have birds becoming extinct. I like the plummage of this lovely bird very much, and this is an excellent capture. Fav'd and thank you for sharing and for the info too.
