The Goslings are getting bigger but they appear to be diminishing in numbers. I can't understand why because there's plenty of food available, and no natural predators at WWT Slimbridge.
Wonderful light and colour in this capture Phil. Its a pity these goslings grow up as they look so cute when they are little. Fav'd and thank you for sharing! Ann
p.s. you've got me thinking about joining Slimbridge or somewhere similar, especially if I can get shots like these. My love of birds and photography would go hand in hand. Thank you for the inspiration!
Phil, The poises you captured of them is excellent, I wonder if they are picking up some kind of sickness, or perhaps Owls or some kind of bird of prey, they sure are growing up. Tigs♥ =^..^=
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
I would suggest owls or other bigger birds of prey or some new human-invented bird disease. I am very sorry to hear the family is diminishing in number !!! Geese are so cute and harmless birds [to us the lords of creation I mean - gggggrrrrr]. Yours upset, SAM [SAAB does not count as he is snoring now]
