On the weekends, the Skidmore Fountain district of Portland, OR, is a hotbed of activity as the city's Saturday Market is alive and dynamic. The winter's sun just before the solstace in this photo allowed for great lighting I just couldn't pass up.

Hey there! Oh yes indeed...and I can just smell the scents of the French Bakery there!! Mmmm..its been a few years since I've visited there, but it is always fun to go to the Saturday Market...all the wonderful foods, gifts, hand made items..music...Im so glad you got this shot! Of course the lighting is wonderful..I especially LOVE the long shadows !!!thank you so much for posting this..!!!!V
