This is definately an amazing shot of unbelieveable coloring in just one flower. I love how the lush green of the leaves in the background make the flower pop! I hope you have continued to take pictures of this flower as it come alive and opens up! I definately will look foward to those photographs if you captured this chain of events.

wow that is a gorgeous tulip and you did an amazing job capturing it. The focus is great, and great details. The green in the background makes the colors of the tuplip seem even more vibrant. very cool...nice work! ~abby

Wow! Look at all those colors... just in one flower! Amazing... I don't think I'd give any parts of my body, but if you could take a picture of this when it is open, I'd like to see it, too. :-)

To all who want to see this flower opened, I'm afraid I have some disappointing news. I took this photo while on vacation and it's about 800 miles away. It's likely bloomed and gone by now. Sorry.
