Cute title...and the subject is the sort of thing I like to photograph...small corners of the world that seem to form an interesting composition. Like the colors leading the viewer back into the picture,and the line loops steadily reducing slack on to the back.
This shot fascinates me because it almost works, which got me wondering why. I think it is the distraction of the rear boat. I’m thinking that if you cropped it to remove the upper half of the rear boat and perhaps a wee bit from the water at the bottom of the photo you would have a cleaner composition without distractions. The viewer would be more involved with fenders and ropes and less with the background.
It’s a fascinating photo that got me fired up to go take a few photos :-)

While there appears to very little wrong with your camera work the image has very little appeal to me. It seems to have achieved some interest though .. hence C-index:29
