Inspired by pixelat_ed's fruit series, I decided to try the same tecnique with a different set of subjects. I used some peices of scrap metal that I like to collect from the local freight yard. This is my first try. I think it turned out okay.... any suggestions for improvement? I had a little trouble with the shadows.

it's a nice idea and the compostion is well. though i pearsonally would like it a bit more messy =D
the shadows are a bit to harsh, you could try to use just indirect light.
