Well, I found and Andy Goldsworthy on Wikipedia who does sculptures with with stones, so I have to assume that's who you mean, and if so, you've done a terrific job of demonstrating his techniques. It looks to me like a nest for rocks...love the embellishment of the flowers..nicely done.

Interesting experiment. Personally I think this would work better "sculpturaly" if the background (ie the earth) was cleaner/distraction free, and it would look great if the ground was in a color that contrasted with the "sticks and stones"; red, for example. Of course you are limited by your environment. If I could make one more observation; although Pat mentioned she liked the flowers, to me they take away from the purity of it somehow. Maybe they're too "pretty" to fit in with the other, more basice elements? Or maybe I'm just talking out of my a** :-) Anyway, keep experimenting...

This creation conveys a "rocky nest" as I look at it at length...so it kind of suggests an 'abstract' feel. I wish the background it lays on would either be totally black or some other texture, the ground it lies on is just a bit too bland. Even tho that sounds odd, I think the ground loses the drama that could be built by with the stone nest. Verena
